Catch Your Confirmations!
Hey friends!! Hope you’re doing well. If you’re in the midst of a storm, I hope that all the rain provides you with a beautiful garden you can dance in 🫶🏽
In this past 12+ months, I have received SO many confirmations continually pushing me into the direction my life is heading in. I feel like God is always sending us confirmations/signs, but they’re hardly ever received or interpreted correctly because we’re too busy looking for some grand gesture. I was watching something one day and the person said, “We always want God to open up the sky and send us signs with flashing lights, but most times our signs are as simple as a leaf falling onto the ground right in front of us”.
I’ve received some subtle signs such as my therapist saying I need to go back to school for a different degree- to a massive sign such as a car accident.
Allow me elaborate a little.. Back in September I was on my way to my eyebrow appointment and I was hit while sitting at the light. Initially, I was PISSED! I had so many things going on that day plus my brow-boo Koko stays booked and busy. (FYI check out @browsbykoko_ on IG and book with her!)
Well, the girl who ran into me was about 10yrs younger and shaken up. (Someone t-boned her and pushed her into me.) As we were standing at the scene, she asked if we could pray for the guy who hit her. I obliged. She was so worried that her parents were going to be angry with her. I told her, “They’re just going to be happy that you’re okay! Cars can be replaced, people cannot.” (I surprised myself by how calm I was during all of this.) Once her parents arrived, they were so sweet and just kept thanking me for praying with their daughter and being so kind. Her mother proceeded to tell me, “God knew we needed to cross paths with you today. We have been going thru so much as a family and you really just reminded us to stop and think, ‘what do I need to learn from this’ instead of ‘why is this happening to me’. You really are an Angel on earth and your parents have done a great job!”
Now, I’ve always known my purpose is to help uplift others and help bring them closer/introduce them to God by speaking on my journey and my faith… but honestly, I have always fought it to some capacity. In this moment though, I knew I couldn’t fight it any longer.
I said all that to say: Sometimes your confirmations are a whisper and other times it’s a roaring thunder that will stop you in your tracks! So—
PAY ATTENTION! The tiniest things could mean something in your journey.
DON’T FIGHT IT! Figure out how to walk in your purpose. Accept whatever it is that your signs are telling you.
ADJUST ACCORDINGLY. Be flexible and make the necessary changes.
Until next time; Be YOU. Do YOU. LOVE YOU 💜
