Gratitude + Greatness

[Original post 1.3.2020]

First post of the decade!! Are you ready for it? Are you ready for me? *clears throat*

Ladies & gents, if you recall, I gave you guys a run down of a couple things I was personally going to do in preparation for this new decade in my previous post. I did all 5 of them! You gotta walk the walk people. I can't be out here giving tips and not following them myself.

So for the first time ever, I made a vision board.

I went to my best friends house, sat in her living room and cut out words/images from magazines that I wanted to manifest this year. As you can see, it's a very simple poster. Simplicity: that's a big part of what I want to manifest this year. Sometimes we make things a lot harder on ourselves than we need to. So I'm personally going to work on simplifying as many areas of my life as I can.

A great way to simplify things is to be thankful for everything that did (or didn't) happen in your life. That brings me to another new thing I did. I wrote a gratitude list.

If you would've asked me a few months ago to write this list, I would've said 2019 can kiss my ass. Ten out of the twelve months I was depressed. I lost myself shortly after the beginning of the year, but I also found myself by the end of it. I saw a meme that said, "Sometimes you have to lose someone you love in order to gains someone who loves you". Both those people ended up being my damn self!

You see, when God sees that you're grateful for what you have, you'll then be given more. Let me say it a little louder for those in the back: when you're grateful for where you are in life, you'll move to the next level!

Your gratitude ultimately leads you into greatness.

Are you ready to tap into your greatness? I know I am. I spent too much time being sad and asking "why me". Try asking yourself instead, what am I suppose to be learning from this? How am I suppose to grow through this?

Bottom line is this: Gratitude can take you a long way.

Until next time; Be YOU. Do YOU. LOVE YOU💜
